Join BRIDGE for a fundraiser to see Gasping Whiteness, a new play about parenting, whiteness and privilege, at the Foundry in West Stockbridge on May 19th at 5pm. On May 19th at 5 PM at the Foundry in West Stockbridge a performance of Gasping Whiteness will be held. The Foundry art space is beautifully renovated and this performance will hold an intimate 60 seat showing of Gasping Whiteness.
This play explores how white supremacy impacts parenting in progressive, middle class communities as it raises funds for POC-led arts, organizing, and youth development work. The play is inspired by the work of activist/artists from across the U.S. and is co-directed by playwright Will MacAdams and Trenda Loftin (who also perform). Tickets are selling fast, please reserve your spot and we encourage you to pay what you can afford to donate ( $10 and up) because all proceeds go to support BRIDGE programs in our community.
