Learn more about BRIDGE's Workplace Programming. About the SDO program Established in 2010, the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) of the Operational Services Division (OSD) certifies diverse businesses and also manages several business programs that help enhance the marketability of small and diverse businesses when they bid on public contracts. The program institutes policies to encourage the award of state contracts that supports the development of and strengthens certified Minority and Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs), such as BRIDGE. We are also certified as a Minority and Women-Run Non-Profit Organization (M/W/NPO). Because the state targets a portion of public dollars to M/W/NPO organizations, if your organization seeks funding for a project in the public or private sector, working in partnership with an SDP like BRIDGE may be a requirement, and/or may also enhance an organization's chance of being awarded a contract. |
