Olivia and Wes at the BRIDGE 10th anniversary Resilient Connections Gala 2018 (Naumkeag)
Three years ago I took the BRIDGE community education courses, Cultural Competence and Real Talk on Race. These life-changing and challenging classes gave me the tools I needed to get real and start living in alignment with my core values. After completing these courses I was searching for ways to put what I had learned into practice—identifying privilege while also shifting that power and access. I have learned that we must find creative ways to give back, support and amplify the many marginalized people in our community.
Multicultural BRIDGE helps to improve the lives of community members throughout the Berkshires, and provides consultation and training to groups and businesses across the state and throughout the country.
