Deepika Bains Shukla

​Deepika Bains Shukla is and Assistant United States and Attorney and the Chief of the Springfield Branch Office of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.  She prosecutes federal criminal cases in the four Western counties of the Commonwealth.  Among her caseload are several civil rights, police excessive force, and hate crimes prosecutions.  Deepika lives in Northampton with her husband and her two children, who are seven and four years old.
