Marks of RED is an Afrofuturist meditation on the “womb-space,” reflecting on the broader environment and act of bringing something into being—of creating, nurturing, and carrying life or ideas into existence. Each “Lady in Red” is someone we are grateful to for the ways in which their work, presence, and lived experience have carried something meaningful into existence, fostering a “womb-space” of their own within our broader community.  BRIDGE was a sub-recipient for two years of this funding with World Farmers and Berkshire Grown and this state resource served as a crucial peg in the solidarity economy, food sovereignty model.
