As an Advisory Council Member, I write to you today to ask you to Save the Date for the upcoming Civil Rights Conference with US Attorney Carmen Ortiz for Multicultural BRIDGE which will be held on November 18, 2014 at 5:30 PM at the Lenox Town Hall.

US Attorney Carmen Ortiz and members of her local Western MA and Boston offices will be delivering a Civil Rights presentation covering the civil and criminal aspects. Topics will be: Civil Rights (Criminal & Civil), Affirmative Action, Police Activity, Hate Crimes, Immigrant Rights, Equitable Pay, Reproductive Rights, Labor Rights, & Employment Law. A panel discussion, local civil rights case study and community opportunity to connect and ask questions are included in the conference time.

During the pre-reception, BRIDGE will be honoring the presence of Carmen Ortiz with their annual cultural competence and community stewardship by honoring local women and highlighting our local Berkshire County Commission on the Status of Women.
